Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Typing Games Arena is free, needs no account and shows no ads. This policy explains exactly what does — and does not — happen with your data.

We do not collect personal data

There are no accounts, no registrations, no email lists, no newsletters and no login forms. We never ask for your name, email address, age or location, so we never receive or store personal data from you.

Your data stays on your device

All your progress — game best scores per difficulty, typing-test history, the lesson step you reached, your chosen language, sound preference and keyboard settings — is saved using your browser's built-in local storage. This information lives only on your own computer or phone and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data (or using the My Stats page to reset) removes it completely and permanently.

Visitor analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics, a free web-analytics service by Google, to count visitors and learn which pages and games are used most. This means:

Third parties in use

Two third-party services are involved in running this site: Google Analytics for anonymous visitor statistics (see above) and Google Fonts for typography. We do not embed advertising networks, social media widgets or session recorders. As with loading any web resource, your IP address is necessarily visible to the servers that provide these resources; you can block fonts.googleapis.com and the site will fall back to system fonts.

Children's privacy

There is no chat, no user-generated content and nothing to sign up for, so children are never asked for any personal information here. Google Analytics is used only for basic visitor counting, not for advertising or building profiles. Parents who prefer their child's visits not be counted can simply use an ad-blocker, which disables analytics without affecting anything else.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like essentially all web hosts, the hosting infrastructure may keep short-lived technical request logs (for example, IP address and browser type) for security and abuse prevention. This is handled by Google under their own policies, and we do not use that data for marketing purposes.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Material changes involving data collection will be announced prominently here first.
